Up nice and early for tubing this morning. Joshua stuck this one out and I don't entirely blame him. The shearing cold that hits your face as you spin down the mountain, is just not worth the thrill for him.
It was lovely and clear on the mountain which means crisp. The tubing was great fun as usual. I very quickly learnt that going down in a single, rather than a group whips up a lot less ice blast on your face. Sorry Steve and Belle, its single rider for me all the way.
Most of the photos below a reflection of the changing light in the morning and how it reflected on the snow and mountains, or the snow whisps that float of the mountain as a result of the winds higher up. In Banff, the clouds hung low for most of the morning adding to the ambience of the morning.
Look out for the photo of the icicles below. Not sure how I managed to shoot the photo of melting ice in motion.
Of course, another warm up in the hot tubs again tonight.
